Imagine you can post in your blog without using a browser! That's a blog editor ofcourse. Microsoft recently released their own beta version blog editor and what's the icing? Its absolutely free to download and use. Like most blog editors, this is also a complete application supporting almost all blog systems which only require you to type in your blogger account username/password and presto! you can start writing more! The tool have those normal features like rich text editor, spell checker, plug-in support, multiple user accounts, multiple weblogs in one editor, enhanced table creation/editing, embed media files and everything imaginable in a quality blog editor.
The cool looking interface easily blends with the latest OS Windows Vista. Over everything, this is 'WYSIWYG' compatible editor so that space where you edit content will look same as your blog's template! The exact font size, layout and text color will be there so its like editing inside your real blog page! Well, you can still turn this 'a bit buggy' feature off and edit like in normal text editors. In addition, there is a new feature which you can embed videos within posts. Right now this application is in beta stage only and so a bit of a resource eater, so recommended only for decently performing systems only and another downside is as the blogger platform do not support image hosting from clients. So Flickr and Picassa are your only options for image publishing. Apart from these small defects this is absolutely a great tool to use. Nice go Microsoft.
